iPhone Update

Some of you might have noticed it already: there is a new update of our iPhone app. Thus, it’s working better now. What is new?

  • The registration process via Facebook Connect is now simpler
  • The Check-In is smarter and faster
  • The localisation is more exact …PLUS…
  • We can show you your locations around me in a better way

But that’s not all for today :) Here is a short view into the future:

  • Creating new locations will become more simple and handy for you
  • and a fancy design update for web and iphone

Those who still don’t have the new App-Version 1.9, should download it quickly :)

friendticker Party at new CCCP-Bar

friendticker called to party Saturday, June 5th. This time we’ve chosen a very very special location: the new CCCP-Bar in Berlin Mitte.

Android-App is out now!

Some of you desperately waited for it.. We are happy to announce the release of the Android-App!! So now all the Android-users can join in the game and check-in, collect ITEMS and have fun!!

Here are some of the features:

  • Better access to friendticker. Now you can use all the functions friendticker has to offer!
  • The layout of the app is clearly arranged which improves the usability in a great way. The app can localize your place of location and therefore offer you the locations around: Bars, clubs, shops – whatever you need! Find your best one and check-in!
  • There’s a list of your favourite locations!
  • You can see if friends of you are checked-in in one of the locations around. Great, you can join them for a beer! :)
  • At checkin-in, send push-notes to your friends on friendticker, Twitter andor Facebook, so they also know what’s going on!

And there are many more functions: Collect ITEMS and win real benefits! Get president of your location! Have fun participating in mob-ITEMS! … :)

Friendticker at Next10 Conference

Hello everyone!

The next big thing is coming up: the Next10 Conference, taking place in Berlin this year!!

Next10 Conference is all about digital and creative economy. Get to know young creative start-ups and how they can change economy through the new possibilities of the internet. Friendticker-Update

Dear all!

Thanks for using friendticker.

We just wanted to update you on some things :)

1. Website Updates.

We have updated our website www.friendticker.com with some nice new features. That you’re informed well about your city we added a top-locations list. Also new is a top-user list.

2. Apps iPhone/Android

  • An update of the iPhone App is available now!
  • The Android App will enter a beta phase next week. If you are interested, let us know and send an email to beta@friendticker.com with the subject “Android BETA”.

3. Check-ins in France, etc.

We focused a little on Germany recently, but expansion is near. So we are available in the German, Swiss, Austrian, French and Spanish app store… get your download now.

Coming up this Friday: the Friendticker Launch Party! We got beer and music to celebrate the launch of friendticker together with you! Take the opportunity to network and dance!

The party is on in the “Appartement” in an old brewery. Start up for the night is DJ Marco from re:tool who keeps you moving with Funk, Breaks galore, Boogie Tunes & Oldschool/Hip/Chicago House! Later it is the boys from ATARI Disco: DJ Ameise (badezimmer produktion, Indie pop rock/Trash hits) und Johann Porsche (FUNK Royal, elektronix vintage disco) – chance to dance from 10 pm to open end!

friendticker @Twittwoch Berlin

Hi everybody,

we can happily announce that we’ll be part of the next Twittwoch in Berlin. The event takes place on Wednesday April 7th, 2010.

Want to test our BETA?

Hi everyone,

Since Monday we offer our users to participate in a closed BETA. We received an overwhelming amount of requests (THANK YOU ALL!) for invites. Right now, our team is sending out the first iPhone apps to test. Please be patient if you applied, but haven’t received an invite yet. We are working on it (promise :) ).

The BETA phase will go on until the beginning of April. We appreciate all of your feedback. If you read this and are interested in what we do, please send an email to beta@friendticker.com with the subject “I WANT BETA!”. We successively  roll out the app and keep you updated.
